Just trust us when we say it's super important.If you're ready to put in some reps, here are some tips for getting better at copywriting.  Mental Ad Re-Writing: Start paying attention to the ads around you. How can you make them better? Keep a mental log going.  Create a swipe file: If you come across an awesome ad, save it. As a general rule of thumb, save things that make you click, signup, or laugh. State the benefits, not features: You've heard it before, but it's crucial to get to the 'why' with your product or service. Don't talk about it, be about it. Always, always explain the benefits. Make your sh*t shorter: There's a reason this newsletter is short and sweet; people are busy. There's a time and a place for long copy. Good copywriting keeps things concise and efficient. Hand-copying famous pieces of copy: Just like it sounds. Bust out your pen and paper and copy a good ad word-for-word. This is a great exercise for training your brain. Push it, push it real good: Have some fun. Copy doesn't have to be serious all the time. Take some risks and don't be afraid to push boundaries. Read your copy out loud: We'll end on that.Dive deeper here.
