According to a study by ecommerce platform Nosto, the average order value (AOV) from this network is $68 for unpaid and $154 for paid—higher than Instagram and Snapchat.Pinterest is much more than a visual search engine. It's also a social network.Whether you're considering Pinterest for your business or you're already making moves on it, check out these tips to ramp up your following. Set up an account that resonates with your target audience: No brainer, right? If you want more impressions on your page, your aesthetic needs to resonate with your core audience. Make sure your profile picture, cover photo, bio, and links are consistent. Create tall images: Tall images do better on Pinterest than on some other social networks. Aim for 2:3 aspect ratio. Include keywords and hashtags in descriptions: Just like Google, Pinterest relies on keywords. Make sure you're optimizing for your keywords without 'stuffing' them.
