The Changing Influencer Landscape

Have you heard about IG's new feature to help brands and creators connect?If it goes according to plan, it'll majorly impact the influencer marketing landscape as we know it.Let's bring you up to speed.

  • Branded content marketplace: This feature would be very similar to TikTok's Creator Marketplace. IG would serve as a one-stop-shop for influencers to find brands to work with and vice versa.

  • Partnership messages: Sliding into the DMs is about to get a lot easier. IG will feature a new folder within DMs specifically for partnership messages.

  • Data-driven Influencer search: According to IG, brands will be able to use data and unique filters to discover and select the best creators for their campaigns. They can then “organize shortlists to easily manage multiple campaigns.”

  • Preferred brand partners list: If a creator is interested in working with a brand, they can add the 'said' brand to a preferred list. In turn, when brands are searching for potential collaborators, they'll show up at the top of the list.

Platforms like IG and beyond will continue to invest resources into influencer partnerships. This is good news for creators and brands.
