The 7 Deadly Sins of MarketingDaniel Murray knows a thing or two about marketing. He grew a massive Linkedin following of over 500k people and shares daily value bombs. In his latest post, Daniel shares the 7 deadly sins of marketing. Here they are... 1. Not deeply knowing your audience: You shouldn't hesitate when someone asks who your ideal customer is. If you're confused in the slightest, get a template (google it) and dive deep into your customer avatar.2. Being everything to everyone: Use your avatar as a guide for your product or service and don't deviate. You're not gonna be for everyone and that's ok.3. Not talking to customers: If someone is paying you for X, Y,or Z, it's your job to make them feel valued. It's a 2-way street. 4. "We've always done it this way": Marketing is constantly evolving. Pay attention to trends and act accordingly. 5. Being impatient (and inconsistent): As you know success doesn't happen overnight. Commit to consistency and stay the course.  6. Ignoring brand and only selling: Your brand represents who you are. Marketing is how you build awareness. These have to work hand-in-hand. A good brand makes for a much more efficient sale. 7. Having no empathy or authenticity: Authenticity will be of utmost importance for the future of marketing, especially given the rise of AI. Humanize your brand as much as possible. Anything you'd add here?
