Should Marketers Be Worried About ChatGPT
Unless you live under a rock, you know that ChatGPT is making some serious noise.Seems like you can't go anywhere on social without being sold some 180-page pdf on prompts to use for GPT. And while we're all for some new technology, it's important to keep things in perspective. While ChatGPT can crank out endless blog posts for the next century, humans have this thing called emotion. DON'T STOP USING IT.We stumbled upon this quote from one of our favorite Linkedin copywriters, Dave Harland, which should set your mind at ease a bit..."Most people don't need a tool that diligently churns out essays worth of emotionless copy on demand so they can fill some imaginary content void.They need a tool that replies: "Jamie, what the f*ck are you thinking mate? This is a terrible idea. Stop wasting your time."Takeaway: ChatGPT is a sweet tool. You should become friends with it. If it allows you to do your job more efficiently, great. But, at the end of the day, it can’t relate to its subject with empathy, imagination, or tact like you can.
