3 Metrics to Track in Google AnalyticsThe amount of data in Google Analytics (GA) can be overwhelming as heck.If you're looking for some quick metrics to track for growth, we have 3 suggestions, but first, let's define 'metric.' According to GA, a metric is a quantitative measurement. For example, the metric Sessions is the total number of sessions. The metric Pages/Session is the average number of pages viewed per session.GA has over 100 metrics to track. Here are 3 to focus on for growth over time:  Uers: 'The users metric in GA tells us how many unique visitors a website received within a set period of time and provides a high-level view of whether marketing efforts are resulting in site growth.  To view all users by traffic source, open the Life cycle > Acquisition > Traffic acquisition report and set your desired date range.'  User engagement: It's crucial to know what users are doing on your site. Average engagement time per site page will give you a good indication of what users like/dislike.   To view all users by traffic source, open the Life cycle > Engagement > Pages and screens report and set your desired date range.  Conversions: Conversions are like the holy grail of our data.   To view the Conversions report in GA4, open the Life cycle > Engagement > Conversions report. You will see collected events automatically marked as conversions and any event that you manually marked as a conversion.Dive deeper here.
