How to Get Verified on Instagram

Verification badges and creditbility go hand-in-hand (for the most part). This blue check of authority is used by celebrities, creators, brands and more.So, how do you get the coveted blue check? There are 2 ways.

Apply for it through the app: 'One of the core requirements when applying for verification directly in the app is to have a notable account. This means that your account must represent a well-known and highly searched-for person, brand, or business.' You'll get an answer within 30 days. If you're denied, you can reapply.
Pay for it: Meta Verified is a new paid subscription service that includes the verification badge. It costs $11.99/month for web or $14.99 for mobile. In addition to having a government-issued ID, you'll need to be at least 18, have 2-factor authenticiaton set up and a couple more things. This is being tested in New Zealand and Australia currently.
