Apple is shaking the ad world up with a major privacy policy change.What you need to know:As of right now, you're still being tracked. In a few weeks, you'll get the chance to opt-out (of tracking).The assumption is that a lot of folks will opt-out and in turn, disrupt the $400B digital advertising industry.How companies are coping:

  • Facebook: FB will have its own phone pop-ups explaining the benefits of user tracking for targeted ads.

  • Google: They're going with it for now but know that metrics will be less useful. They're working on new performance tracking-tools.
