It's Really Working

Last week, we featured some tactics on IG Reels and TikTok.Well, one of our loyal subs took heed and followed our recommendations.They were damn surprised by the results and shared what they did, so we're sharing it with you.Here's what happened:The brand is called Have Fun Do Good. They're a travel company that has been a bit stagnant because of Covid.They did some research on trending travel videos on Reels and TikTok and repurposed them with their own content. The results were pretty stellar for such a low lift.Their first Reels video saw over 5k views and their 2nd video is just short of 4k views. As a result, they added over 200 new followers on IG.On TikTok, they have over 10k views combined between 2 videos. Other learnings from Have Fun Do Good: 

  • Posting time and the cover image are really important.

  • Make sure you're using the right hashtags. We like DisplayPurposes for sourcing #'s

  • We used TikTok to gauge interest before posting to our Instagram as we don't spend a lot of time on TikTok.
