Make Your Site Go FastWhen it comes to your website - you need to have a Ricky Bobby mentality.  But, seriously - your website speed is really important. It directly impacts your conversion rates, repeat business, and search engine rankings.PLUS - On May 1, Google search started giving priority to fast-loading websites. So, how do you make your website as fast as Ricky Bobby? Check out the suggestions below. But, before we go there, keep this in mind...some of the suggestions are pretty tech. If they aren't in your wheelhouse, hit us up and we can help.  Optimize images: Keep your images under 1MB for your site. Reduce redirects: The more redirects, the slower the site. It's essentially doing the work of 2 pages. Improve server response time: The optimal server response time is under 200ms. The response time is impacted by a number of things...host, traffic, and software. Enable compression: There are a ton of file compression software companies. Use one to reduce the size of your CSS, HTML, and JavaScript files that are larger than 150 bytes. Consider a content distribution network: CDNs if you're fancy. CDNs are networks of servers that can manage heavy content loads and make your content more accessible and ultimately, faster. Dive deeper here.
