Is Your Content Working? Only 35% of marketers say they think it's "very important" to know the return on marketing investment (ROMI), according to a survey from HubSpot.News flash...it's very important.When it comes to content marketing though, measuring ROI can be tricky as content is typically a long-play strategy.When it comes to tracking content marketing results, make sure you have a handle on the following: Ensure that search engines can find your content: Type "site:yourdomain.com" in the Google search bar, and see what comes up. If nothing comes up, you need to create an updated sitemap. If you don't know how to do that, hit us up. Pick some keywords you'd like to rank for: There are plenty of keyword research tools (like Ahrefs and Moz). After you have a few keywords picked out, start using them in your content. Set up a streamlined funnel: Any content you share should be focused on action. Whether it's gated content, a landing page, email capture or more, make sure your content is focused on user action.Dive deeper here.
