Top Facebook Updates for May 2022With FB constantly changing, it's important to be in the know. Check out some recent updates courtesy of AdEspresso.   More transparency for social, political and electoral ads: 'Starting in July 2022, the Ad Meta Library will include summaries of targeting information for these ad categories. The data will be made available to vetted academic researchers. The goal is to study social media’s impact on society (with measures to protect individual users’ privacy in place).'  New conversation management tools: These include; Streamlined creation for ads that lead to WhatsApp, WhatsApp messages are coming to your Meta inbox, and Inbox promotional messages in testing.  Expansion of lead generation and customer acquisition tools: These include; A “quote request” option for Instagram, partner integration, creative flexibility with Instant Forms, filtering leads with Instant Forms and gated content.   IG may start hiding stories: The new format would only show 3 stories per individual. To see more, you'd have to click 'show all.'   Full-screen videos and photos tested in Instagram feed: "“the future of photos and the future of video is mobile-first.” - Adam Mosseri (Head of IG).
