What are IG Notes and Why Should You Care?

Instagram is at it again. This time with Instagram Notes.With IG Notes, users can post short disappearing updates and announcements that only appear in the Inbox section of the app.If you haven't seen them in-app yet, hang tight. IG it slowly rolling these out to users. So, will notes have an impact on your social strategy?Time will tell...(regardless, it's important to be in the know). According to Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, "Messaging is the primary way people connect online."IG is clearly looking to get more people interactiing within the app. While notes could spark more engagement, it's unclear if this will stick.  Notes explained...Notes can be up to 60 characters in length. Users won’t get a notification about Notes but will be able to see them for 24 hours in the app, as well as reply to Notes via messages.Keep an eye on your IG account for access to notes.
