Use Google Trends for MarketingIf you're not familiar with Google Trends, you should be.Trends analyzes the popularity of top search queries in Google Search and provides real-time data regarding current trends from the past seven days, as well as past trends, which date back to 2004.Here are a few ways to use Google Trends for marketing:  Market research: Let's say you're launching a new product and want to see where and when folks have searched for something related to your product; fire up the 'Country drop-down selector' in Trends. Not only will you get a breakdown of locations, but you'll get related topics and queries. Newsjacking: If you rely on newsjacking for your content, you should create a subscription for Google Trends. You'll get all the stories as they happen.   Keyword research: There are plenty of tools for keyword research. We like Google Trends because it gives you directional data to pair with your monthly search volume. You can see what's on the rise (and decline) based on related search queries. Product innovation: Looking to add a new style or color to your product? Check Trends to see if there's a spike or interest in said innovation.Dive deeper here
