Airbnb versus VRBO

Considering a trip soon? Join the club. Travel is roaring back. You have a lot of options when it comes to booking accommodations, but Airbnb and VRBO are the most popular peer-to-peer networks.Which one is better though? Here's what the internet has to say: 

• Airbnb has a better selection - Unlike Airbnb, VRBO only rents out entire properties whereas Airbnb rents shared spaces and entire properties. For that reason, you'll have a lot more to choose from on Airbnb. 

• Pricing is comparable - Both platforms charge service fees, so no major difference here. Note: Airbnb offers long-term stay discounts, while Vrbo does not.

• Cancellation options - VRBO gives owners more options when it comes to cancellation. Just make sure you read the fine print with both services so you don't get burnt if you have to cancel. 

• Search options - While VRBO has a clunkier interface than Airbnb, it offers a lot more in the way of search filters. 

Winner: It really depends on what you're after. We recommend checking out both platforms for your next trip.
