Ready for a Chatbot?
Did you know that Facebook Messenger chatbots have a shattering 70% to 80% open rate? Woah. While we're super bullish on email (and always will be) - it's definitely worth considering a chatbot to create a better customer experience and get killer engagement.Chatbots are great for qualifying leads, driving email subs from your website and Facebook page, and improving support. When it comes to the technical side of building a bot, check out these 4 tips.
Define where to host your chatbot: You'll likely want to have a FB Messenger bot and a bot for your website. Check out Chatfuel or Intercom for building a website bot.
Define goals for your chatbots: Ask yourself these questions...
Am I trying to improve conversions for a particular page?
Am I trying to increase lead volume?
Am I trying to help move people down the funnel faster?
Create your conversation: Here comes the fun part. A chatbot should be able to almost fully automate your customer support. This will take some time, but the above recs will walk you through it. Be patient.
Analyze engagement data: Once you're up and running, you'll want to keep a close eye on total leads generated, goal completion rate, retention rate, fallback rate, and user feedback.
