Launch Prep: We know all about it

No matter what you’re launching (a podcast, an email series, a website), you need to have a launch plan in place. At Vendilli, we recently (like, today) launched our new podcast.

Here are some key lessons we’ve learned, not only from this launch, but from the work we do every day with clients.

L.A.U.N.C.H

L- Learn (or you’ll be playing catch-up)
Know your audience. Know your goals. Know your tools. Skip this step and you’ll spend twice as long fixing what you could’ve gotten right the first time. Educate first. Execute after.

A - Act (you can’t wait for perfection)
Start making decisions. Get things moving. There’s always room to improve, but if you wait for perfect, you’ll never hit publish.

U - Unite (launches are team efforts)
Checklists. Tasks. In-person convos. Your team needs to be locked in. Everyone should know their role and when they are up. Accountability and understanding above all.

N - Notice (see the patterns)
What worked before? What didn’t? What are competitors doing? What’s nobody else trying? Look at everything.

C - Celebrate (take the W)
You went from idea to launch. That’s more than what people do. Appreciate the progress. Reflect on what you pulled off.

H - Hatch (let it fly)
Let it go! Release it into the world with joy. Let the work speak for itself.

Now go launch something worth talking about.
