Process First, AI Second

AI only accelerates what’s already working. Point it at chaos and it just makes chaos faster. Do this to prevent dysfunction from turning into disaster.

1. Document your campaign workflow
Pick a recurring process. Write down the steps. See if any of those steps no longer make sense. Rewrite the steps. Document it.

2. Create an SOP that anyone can understand
New Hire. Consultant. Freelancer. Can they follow without any questions? If they can’t, it’s still in idea mode and not in system mode.

3. Decide where the humans fit in
AI handles the middle (drafting, research), but a human puts the final eye and the creative brain on it all.

4. Pilot AI on the process, not the person
Pick one AI tool for a specific step. Draft ad copy. Analyze this set of data. Run it for at least two weeks before deciding if it earns a permanent spot or if it goes away.

5. Ask "where did this free up time" every week
Are billable hours higher because your team could get to work? Or was it the same old, same old. If the tool isn't allowing anyone to do the higher-value work, it’s off the table.
