Create an Action PlanWelcome back. We're gonna keep things light today because there's a good chance you're in a bit of a holiday fog. Feels.What better way to get back in a groove than with a solid action plan. "Failing to plan is planning to fail," said Benjamin Franklin (maybe).We couldn't agree more.To stay on track in 2022, try the following:  Define your end goal: Start with where you are and where you want to be. Then, write down your goal. The folks at Hubspot are all about the SMART criteria. It's a simple way to stay on track with your goals. We recommend downloading the SMART template here.   Specifc, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely     Make a list of all the steps: You need to know what the task is, who is performing it and when it's due. Some folks swear by the RACI template to hold teams accountable.   Prioritize tasks and deadlines: After your list is complete, make sure it's in order of priority. Keep your deadlines realistic too.   Set milestones: To stay motivated and on track, add milestones to your list (or mini-goals). Start from the end goal and work way back as you create milestones. It's important to celebrate the wins.  Identify resources needed: Team work makes the dream work. Make sure you have each task assigned to a specific person. If you don't have that person, make a plan to hire them.  Always look at your list: Keep your list front and center throughout your project. It may require a pivot or two, so don't be afraid to adjust accordingly.Dive deeper here.
